About Nolensville First Baptist Church
Who We Are
Our Mission
Nolensville First Baptist Church exists to see lost people saved, saved people discipled, and discipled people sent.
Our Vision
Believing that God has extraordinary plans for our church, our fervent prayer is to remain steadfast in faithfulness and obedience to His Word, even as the world around us undergoes rapid transformation. In these times of profound change, it is vital that we stay vigilant in fulfilling our God-given mission.

Our Core Values
As a congregation, we hold four core values above all else. These guiding principles help us fulfill our mission of leading people to experience the joy and freedom found in Jesus, all for the glory of God.
Worship
Humanity was created to worship God. The divine design was for us to love and enjoy Him forever. However, since the fall, humanity has turned to worshiping other things instead (Romans 1:21-23). In fact, all of our thoughts, words, actions, and desires are an act of worship – whether directed toward our Creator or His creation. As 1 Corinthians 10:31 instructs, we should do all things for the glory of God.
Our aim should be to redirect people’s worship back to God. Through corporate gatherings of the saints, we can help people worship the Creator rather than the created. In these settings, we worship by remembering the Gospel through preaching, teaching, singing, praying, and celebrating the ordinances of baptism and communion.
Community
The Christian faith is not meant to be lived in isolation. God has designed us as relational beings, to be in relationship with Him and with one another. The local church is not merely a place for weekly worship services, but a community in which we live out this design.
As 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 teaches, we are members of the body of Christ, with an expectation to contribute to that body for God’s glory. True community is not about occasional attendance or casual involvement, but about consistently displaying love and care with authenticity. This kind of community requires more than just an hour a week – it demands constant effort throughout the week, whether in home groups, Sunday school classes, or other intimate settings.
Service
The term “servant” should be synonymous with the title “Christian.” Our ultimate example, Jesus, embodied the perfect picture of servanthood. This role was not forced upon Him, but rather a natural outpouring of His loving, kind, compassionate, gracious, and merciful character. As Christians, our attitudes and desires should increasingly reflect the character of Jesus Christ.
The transformative power of the Gospel instills in us a desire to serve others, not just ourselves. There are abundant opportunities to put this into practice, both on and off our campus. Whatever talents the Lord has given you, we want to help you develop and utilize them to the fullest.
John 13:1-20 & 2 Corinthians 8:1-15
Multiplication
The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 motivates us to multiply disciples. However, multiplication is not about conformity, but about helping others discover the ultimate joy and freedom found in Christ. The Gospel transforms the dead to life.
Multiplication occurs over an extended period, not just during a weekly church service. It takes place in small group Bible studies, on soccer fields, and on foreign soil – anywhere we make disciples who make more disciples. Multiplication is not confined to a single location, but is a holistic, ongoing process.

Parker has faithfully served the NFBC community since 2000. He graduated from Belmont University in 1960 with a degree in music and later took graduate classes at the University of Tennessee and Peabody College, fueling his lifelong passion for music. Beyond his musical pursuits, Parker has a deep devotion to the church and God’s people. For nearly 60 years, he has been privileged to serve in five different congregations, passionately leading worship. In addition to his ministerial work, Parker sings with a men’s quartet called the Golden Heirs, a hobby he has enjoyed for the past fifteen years. Through his multifaceted contributions to music, ministry, and family, Parker has left an indelible mark on his community.
Our History
Over 70 Years of Faithfulness
In May 1947, the pastor of Concord Baptist Church grew interested in the Hebron community of Franklin. This interest prompted him to organize a tent revival and Vacation Bible School there. In December 1951, the First Baptist church of Nolensville was established as a result of the pastor’s outreach to the Hebron community. There have been a lot of changes here at First Baptist Church in 75 years. But one thing that hasn’t changed and will not change, is this church’s passion for others to know who Jesus Christ is. Our past encourages us for our future.
Our Future
The Best is Yet to Come
Nolensville First Baptist Church stands at the heart of one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing communities, and we embrace this exciting season with purpose and hope. As our surroundings transform, our mission remains unwavering: to share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ with all.
We believe God is preparing extraordinary opportunities for our congregation in the years ahead. Our deepest commitment is to remain faithful to His Word even as the world around us rapidly evolves. In these dynamic times, we’re more dedicated than ever to fulfilling our divine calling.
Our church exists to glorify God in everything we do by making disciples through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Him, people discover true joy and freedom. This transformative message is our heartfelt offering to our growing community. The harvest is abundant, and the time is now! We’ve been entrusted with the greatest gift—Jesus Christ—and we consider it our highest privilege to share Him with others.

Missions and Affiliations
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 (CSB)
Jesus commands all his followers to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19). Through the preaching of the Gospel, God seeks to restore those lost in sin to a right relationship with Him. At First Baptist Church, we are devoted to fulfilling this Great Commission. We recognize that we are not merely called to financially support missions, but to actively participate in God’s global mission.
As a Southern Baptist church, we support four key Southern Baptist giving programs – the International Mission Board (IMB), the North American Mission Board (NAMB), Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions and the Cooperative Program (CP).
