Our History

In May of 1947 the pastor of Concord Baptist Church became interested in the people of the Hebron Community of Franklin. The interest in these people led him to hold a tent revival and a Vacation Bible School in this community. As a result of this interest, four years later in December of 1951, First Baptist Church of Nolensville was organized.

First Baptist Church was started because someone saw a group of people that needed to be reached with the Gospel message. This one persons' desire then developed into a church that has had an impact on the community of Nolensville for the past sixty five years.

There has been a lot of changes here at First Baptist Church in 65 years. But one thing that hasn't changed and will not change, is this church's passion for others to know who Jesus Christ is. Our past encourages us for our future.

Our Future

The future is bright at Nolensville First Baptist Church! God in His divine wisdom and providence has placed us right in the middle of one of the fastest growing places in Tennessee. The landscape is changing rapidly around us, but our mission hasn't changed. There are still people lost in their sin and now they are even closer to us in proximity. The harvest is NOW! We have been given the greatest gift anyone could receive, Jesus Christ, and it is our joy that we can offer Him to someone else.

We believe that God has some of the best years ahead of us as a church. It is our prayer that we remain faithful and obedient to His word. In a landscape of rapid change, we know it is vital that we remain vigilant with our mission.

We exist to glorify God in all things, by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ, that they may discover ultimate joy and freedom in Him.
