Parker has been faithfully serving NFBC since 2000. He graduated form Belmont University in 1960 with a degree in music. His passion for music also led him to take some graduate classes from the University of Tennessee and Peabody College. Parkers training in music allowed him to teach music at Metro Nashville Schools for 25 years, where he impacted countless lives with his gifts. Parker has not just been passionate about music, but he has a passion for the church and for God's people to sing about the great grace of our Lord. He has been privileged to serve in five different churches through the years and has been leading worship for almost sixty years. Parker has three grown children and seven grandchildren. His wife Carol serves faithfully in our churches nursery. Parker also has been singing with a men's quartet group called the Golden Heirs for the past five years.
